What are the types of wire rope cores

The core of the wire rope refers to the filler or structure inside the wire rope. According to different materials and structural characteristics, the core of steel wire rope can be divided into the following types:
1.Steel core (IWRC): Steel core rope is a rope core composed of steel wire strands and a central steel wire twisted with steel wires. It has the following characteristics:
>High Strength: The steel core rope provides extra strength and stiffness, giving the wire rope a higher load-bearing capacity.
>High stability: The steel core rope has good compression resistance and can maintain good shape stability.
>Strong tensile and extrusion resistance: the steel core rope can withstand higher tensile force and extrusion resistance, and is suitable for application scenarios that require higher strength and rigidity.
>Wide range of applications: Steel core ropes are suitable for hoisting heavy objects, hoisting machinery, and scenarios that require long life and high frequency of use.
2.Fiber core (FC): The fiber core rope core is a rope core made of fiber materials, such as synthetic fibers, natural fibers, etc. It has the following characteristics:
>Lightweight and flexible: The fiber core rope is lighter than the steel core rope, which makes the whole steel wire rope lighter, more flexible, and easy to carry and operate.
>Good stretchability: Due to the softness of the fiber core, the fiber core rope core has good stretchability, which is suitable for shock and vibration during lifting.
>Corrosion resistance: The fiber core rope has better corrosion resistance than the steel core rope, and is especially suitable for use in wet or chemically corrosive environments.
3.Wire Rope Rigid Enough (WRC): A wire rope rigid enough core is a type of core between a steel core and a fiber core, with the following characteristics:
>Both advantages: the steel wire rope has a sufficiently rigid core, which not only has the high strength and rigidity of the steel core rope, but also has the lightness and flexibility of the fiber core rope.
>Wide range of applications: The steel wire rope has a sufficiently rigid core for a variety of application scenarios, especially for environments that require both strength and flexibility.
